I was so hopeful that it was fixed, but in the end, this was not the solution. I haven't been able to do dailies several times already. This would allow windows to install a driver by its own (no idea which version though). I was able to get to the CTRL+ALT+DEL screen, however I couldn't click on any of the options as it still seemed frozen.
Update: Microsoft released a Cumulative Update on August 31, which is supposed to fix freezing in Windows 10; the update is rolled out automatically.
