CPU Usage Through The Roof. Possible Rootkit?
Norton is more expensive than ESET, and isn't nearly as worth it. This has been going on for several days and has made my computer almost unusable, and i'm at a dead end for what to do or where to look next. A potential solution is a “less but more” approach with multi-function tools and devices. It's good that I have a total of 6 computers here, so this is not life threatening, but it's bugging the shit out of me! The problem definitely is in the windows 7 version of the driver for this device. But only when connected to the internet.
