After the restart, hopefully your screen may not flash. This was a clean install from a couple of months ago, and everything was perfect. I hope this helps! Just keep practicing by clicking in the text box and quickly typing the letter you need before the screen flickers (if you can).

Anyhow here's NualaMa's suggestion which I cut and paste. Try uninstalling that and see.. ofer and thought to myself after downloading what did I get myself into when it started flashing, been at it all day trying all I think I could do like rebooting Wird verarbeitet...
